Hi Anthony! Thanks for your comment. I passed the information you provided on to our Service group. We have information on the topic and are going to look into it further. I appreciate the information!
Welcome to TheSRO* Anthony. How did you find us? I love the photo. Looks serene. Would you be willing to share some information about yourself and answer the question of what a socially responsible organization is?

What is a socially responsible organization?
A SRO represents an ideology in which a number of considerations are made in their daily operations:
environmental impact
operations footprint
societal benefit
These organizations emphasize both the importance of the preservation/conservation/restoration of the environment, as well as, the effect that their operations have on the people in the world around them. They strive to strike a balance between the world around them and that of making a profit.
About me
I am a senior Veterinary Nurse (CVT) at two 24 hour Critical Care and Emergency Animal hospitals in the Milwaukee area. I am also a recent graduate of UW-Milwaukee's Biology and Conservation/Environmental Sciences programs.
I am a Certified Interpretive Guide, and through interpretive techniques, I have introduced some new ideas, helping our facility become more "green". The hospitals that we operate are nearly paperless (some physical documentation is necessary), and we utilize digital radiography, further decreasing our demand for harsh chemicals and heavy metals.
We have begun some forms of community return, and continue to search for other avenues.
I am currently developing a Sustainability Plan, with emphasis on reducing our waste materials output and electricity demand.
