A socially responsible organization is one that considers the risks and benefits of the triple bottom line - people, profit and planet - when making business decisions.
About me
Barbara Haig is a partner with Jeff Jackson in Haig/Jackson Communications, Inc., a firm that consults with businesses and organizations to provide issues management and help communicate financial, environmental and social achievements to a broad range of audiences.

A former television reporter and producer at broadcast outlets in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Eau Claire, she has handled hundreds of communications projects for companies and organizations such as Johnson Controls, Medical College of Wisconsin, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Association for Equity in Funding, American Federation of Musicians, Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation, Milwaukee Public Schools and many individuals and agencies. Her work often involves cooperative efforts with the U.S. Department of Energy and EPA, U.S. Green Buildings Council, U.S. Energy Association, National Energy Foundation, International Facility Management Association and others.

Ms. Haig has written several articles for publication and has been a UW-Milwaukee lecturer. She is active in community, church and school organizations, including the Milwaukee Press Club, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and Professional Dimensions, and is a Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library board member. Ms. Haig resides with her family in Milwaukee's Washington Heights neighborhood.
