Is ExxonMobil Really the "Green Company of the Year"?

This short article puts Forbes' declaration of ExxonMobil as "green company of the year" into better context.

For example, though ExxonMoblie is putting $600 million into algae farms that would turn sunlight into automotive fuel, that amounts to a commitment of less than half of one per cent of their five-year capital expenditure plan.

ExxonMobil's efforts are better than nothing, of course, but probably fall short of meriting any grand celebration or recognition.
